About Daily Code Run

Daily Code Run, also called DailyCodeRun, is a free programming practice app at dailycoderun.com. It offers C++, Git and terminal puzzles, interactive C++ concept lessons and review based on your answers.

Who is it for?

Students and developers who want to revisit programming fundamentals alongside their coursework, projects and deeper study. Trace code, explain a result and notice concepts worth studying again.

How practice works

  1. Choose five topics for your daily activities. The questions adapt to your recorded practice within those topics.
  2. Commit each answer before its explanation appears. Finish the five activities for a clear stopping point.
  3. Return to scheduled reviews, open Free Run for more practice, or follow a concept lesson and answer its interactive checks.

What the examples cover

Questions and walkthroughs use authored examples. The app does not compile or execute arbitrary C++ programs. Use a compiler, course materials and larger projects for broader practice. A short check shows what to revisit; success on it does not establish mastery.

Your progress and visit data

Progress stays in this browser when storage is available. Export a backup from Progress to keep a copy and import it on another browser or device. If storage is unavailable, the app explains when progress is available only in the current tab.

Optional Google Analytics is off by default and can be enabled in Progress. When enabled, it receives basic visit information such as page visits, browser and device details. Answers, saved progress and backups are not included in those analytics.
